Casa Sùara

In progress

Casa Sùara was born as a refined renovation project, which reinterprets the local rural tradition through an essential and contemporary language. Immersed in the Mediterranean scrub of Monticanaglia, in Sardinia, the residence finally opens up to the landscape with large windows that frame the surrounding nature, favoring a fluid dialogue between inside and outside.

Natural materials and neutral colors define a warm and welcoming environment, where light becomes the protagonist, modulating the spaces and enhancing the materiality of the surfaces. The kitchen, the heart of the house, develops around a large island in Orosei marble, which recalls the identity of the territory. The balance between craftsmanship and design is maintained by some custom-designed elements, including a solid wood shelf, which serves as a support for traditional kitchen utensils.

Casa Sùara is thus configured as a virtuous example of how architecture can enhance the historical and landscape context, responding with sensitivity to the needs of contemporaneity.
